Congee Day

By Bekka

My mom was craving for congee, and I wanted to eat “tokwat baboy” (tofu and pork). In BF if we want to eat that combo, we normally go to Iagos Grill because Lugawan Republic is part of that restaurant along Aguirre.

They serve Filipino comfort food with reasonable price. Since we frequent the place the staff always greet us with their friendly faces.

While my niece settled for the nachos, and we added lumpia gulay (fried veggie roll). The order didn’t take long for it to be served and for a BF restaurant.

They have parking space. There was this one time there was no parking, and I was instructed to go at the back street. I made a mistake, thinking I’ll enter in one of the streets along Tirona, to my surprise kuya guard waited for me in the other street to show me where to enter, great customer service, right? That is one reason why we keep on coming back to this place, good service as well.
