After accomplishing the things we need to do this morning, it is time for lunch. While entering President Avenue, my mom and I decided to eat at Toho. It is the go to place if you want to eat Chinese food. The first branch in South since 2000, but this is the oldest restaurant, over a century old in the country, located at Binondo. Their legacy is passed down to many generations in their family.
The restaurant has been consistent with their dishes. The salty, sweet, bitter, sour and spicy, soul taste of Chinese cooking. I never had a problem eating their food, I really stay away from oily food and msg overload as much as I can. In this case, I may say, for a Chinese restaurant their food is not greasy and not much msg. They have generous serving for every dish and value for money.
The only thing they need to improve at is the way a waiter should take the order. It would be best if the waiter would repeat it after jotting it down, our waiter forgot to serve the beef and broccoli we ordered. I did not let that get into me, I just let it pass. The dining experience is still good never the less.
Through the years they expanded and added up two more branches, SM Southmall and SM BF. That proves to show that their business is growing much more.
