I met my good friend at Westgate to ride with him going to Tagaytay to attend a seminar, spend time together and visit our friends there too. We left early to avoid Sunday’s traffic going up to Tagaytay.
We attended the seminar until 1PM. It was time for lunch and he wanted to treat us at Sonya’s Garden. I haven’t been there for quite sometime. The last time I ate there the place was still small and the buffet was still being served in the garden. Through time they expanded they already have function area, bakery, spa, bed and breakfast and shops.
Since we’re just there for lunch we were ushered to the Sunflower Restaurant. We headed straight to the buffet area we all got hungry after the seminar. Like what they used to have they are still serving salad, pasta (red and white sauce) and they were serving salmon that time. On the table they already placed the dressing, bread and spreads, along with fresh juice. We were exchanging stories here and there, time to hit the dessert table which they have glazed sweet potato, banana fritters and chocolate cake.
At the end of the meal they served the tarragon tea which I really liked. It was a fun lunch dining with good friends, experience that you would always treasure. I would never hesitate to come back at Sonya’s Garden.
