One of the many activity my friends and I like and have in common is looking for affordable destination places. We go out of our way to spend a simple intimate day whenever we get to see each other.
Anyway, one of my friends have seen in one of the local TV shows this place in Naic, Cavite. She says Torres Farm and Resort looks interesting and will bring us around the world in just a couple of steps.
It was another holiday, a cloudy windy day, when I picked up my friends in Las Pinas. I prepared early since we were having potluck for lunch, which in this instance, I cooked pork chops and baked some ensaymada. With Waze App on, we were able to locate the resort without any problem.
We didn’t reserve a hut beforehand, so we were only left with a choice of tables across the Taj Mahal pools. The entrance fee was ₱180 per person and the table was ₱400, which was good for 6 pax. I really suggest booking a hut. Sad face. Huhuhu.
But enough with my regrets already… At least we were able to go around, saw their attractions, took above board pictures, enjoyed each others company, and filled our belly to our hearts content. The only drawback was getting goosebumps and shivers while swimming in the pool because of the windy and cloudy skies. Alas, there was nothing we can do about the weather—sometimes it cooperates, and sometimes it doesn’t.
Here were some of the picture perfect, instagramable backdrops within the resort.
A shrinked replica of Lady Liberty with the New York skyline.
A windmill of Holland.
A European Castle.
All in all, it was a day well spent with friends, a trip Around the World, and another memory to add in Facebook. Hahaha.
