I go to Tagaytay to visit good friends there every now and then. It was raining, and it is a good time to eat bulalo (beef marrow stew). I’ve eaten in this restaurant several times before. At first, I just bought their buco pie (coconut pie) which we really liked, and I told myself if their pie is good their food might be worth trying too. True enough, every time I come visit their restaurant and try another dish, it never fails my expectation. I’ve been to all of their branches depending on the traffic flow of customers.
Yesterday we ordered their bulalo, I hardly eat beef, but I ate more than I usually do. The serving was big and enough for 4 people, even if you are a big eater. The service was great as usual, pet friendly since we usually bring our fur baby. The food is consistently good and price friendly.
Even if there are numerous restaurants in the area, we never fail to go back to Cecilia’s, it’s like eating at home away from home, and of course, we never leave without buying the buco pie which my family likes. After a heart full meal, we are fueled up to our next destination. Till next time for another glorious meal at Cecilia’s.
